golf gda95903ce_640Golf isn't the same as the other ball sports. It does not have an area of play that is standard. It is difficult to adapt to the different types of terrains that are found on each course. A course usually has 18 to 9 holes. These are regions of the terrain that are filled with cups, which indicate the location in which the ball will be received. Every hole has a teeing surface to start from and a putting area that contains the cup. There are various standard forms of terrain between the tee area and the green, like the fairway rough (tall grass) and various hazards, including water, rocks, or bunkers filled with sand. Each hole of a course is unique with the particular layout.Golf is played with the lowest number of strokes by an individual, known as stroke play or the score that is the lowest on all holes played in a full round, whether by an individual or a team, known as match play. Stroke play, particularly played at the highest level is the most popular game format.
