Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira, born in Campinas Sao Paulo on May 26 in 1978. She is a famous actress by her roles in Woman on Top (2000) Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira has been an integral part of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime since the month of March in 2020. She is currently the manager of the Assassination Witness Project, which is an integral part of the GI-TOC's multilateral engagement. Her research at the GI-TOC is focused on disappearances, assassinations and various forms of violence in the context of illicit economy. Her main research areas are the effect of criminal organizations on human rights as well as humanitarian law and policy. Ana Paula is a graduate of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (Geneva) with an LL.M. She also holds an LL.M in Public Law and an MBA in International Relations through Fundacao Getulio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula earned a magnacum honours bachelor's degree Legal and Social Sciences at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Her experience as a lawyer has included four years of practicing in a law firm that specialises in the area of public law litigation. Her previous experience also includes working for non-governmental organizations that have their offices within Rio de Janeiro.
